Ten-year-old pianist Yidi Ding started his piano lessons at the age of 5. A prodigy, he was invited a year later to perform in a solo concert at the Shanghai Oriental Art Center. The China Record Corporation arranged for Yidi to release a personal CD album and perform at Carnegie Hall in New York and Golden Hall in Vienna. Yidi has won over 20 first prizes in numerous prestigious piano competitions at home and abroad. At age 7, Yidi was admitted to the Pre-college Division of the Juilliard School. He was selected as a Lang Lang International Music Foundation Young Scholar for 2020-22.  Gary Graffman, the prominent piano educator, has praised Yidi for his gift and tremendous talent as a pianist. Other renowned pedagogues have lauded Yidi for his prodigious musical development, and feel he is “a natural, with impressive emotional expression far exceeding his age.” They call him “a major musical talent … able to project his deeply felt ideas precisely and persuasively.”

A native of Princeton, NJ, Evelyn Joung, age 14, was accepted into the Juilliard Pre-College Division when she was 11 as its youngest cello student. Evelyn has won top prizes as a soloist in numerous competitions, including the Vivo International Music Competition, New York International Music Competition, International Grande Music Competition, Camerata Artists International Concerto Competition, Lyra Music Youth Competition, and the Adelphi Orchestra’s Young Artist Competition.
